Camping Croatia Holidays Camp Sites

Practically all of Croatia’s campsites are located in the coastal resorts, with ninety percent of them situated along the Adriatic Coast.

There are currently over five hundred campsites located on the mainland and islands, over a third of which boast a capacity of over one thousand pitches. You will find that the majority of sites have been awarded a three or four star rating from the Croatian tourist board, however those with better, and worse, facilities can be found.

There are a small number of campsites that operate throughout the year, but due to the weather and lower tourist numbers, most campsites close for autumn and winter. Generally, the season starts at Easter and finishes in mid to late October, but to avoid disappointment, it is well worth checking with each individual site before leaving home if your itinerary is close to the beginning or end of the season.

Below is a small selection of some of our favourite campsites. If, however, we have not covered an area that you are hoping to visit, it is well worth contacting Croatia’s Camping Union, KUH (Kamping Udruzenje Hrvatske). The address is: KUH, Pionirska 1, HR – 52440, Porea, Croatia.
