To help you organize your golf holiday in Florida, below we look more closely at some more of the area's 'must play' courses.

Once you've played the PGA National, you do not need to travel much further to find our second recommended course in Florida as it is part of the same club! The Estate course at the PGA National Club has always been viewed as poor relation to the Champion Course since it was built in 1988. Here at Touch Down Tee Off however we believe you can travel a long way around Florida and not find a better course, so save some fuel and check it out. As it continues to mature the course keeps getting better and better and the 6784 yards provide a great golfing test as well as wonderful scenic views of the surrounding area.

The Estate is the only course at the PGA National that has its own driving range so if you like a good warm up before you play then this is probably the choice for you!

Travel a little further into Florida and you will find the Plantation Inn Resort. This is a luxury hotel with many sporting facilities including two fantastic but contrasting golf courses. We recommend you take the opportunity to play both.

The Championship Course is a 6502 yard par 72 just 200 yards away from the main hotel. It is a relatively flat and open course with the odd lake or so to make life a little more interesting. A typical resort course suitable for golfers of all standards.

The Lagoon Course is a handy little 9 holer, ideal for a quick round in the morning before you head out or in the early evening after you return from your day's activities. It is also a great location for the beginner to move from the driving range to a proper course. It is actually situated within the boundaries of the Championship course.

The PGA National Club and the Plantation Inn Resort are typical of many sports complexes around Florida. They offer a number of courses, as well as other sporting activities and great hotels. There is so much to do in Florida that visiting resorts with a number of courses saves valuable travelling time.
