The Grand Wailea


The Grand Wailea will make your jaw drop to the floor. This opulent 780 roomed resort can quite honestly be deemed to be " Maui's super resort!" On arriving you come to a waterfall that looks like it belongs near the Seven Sacred Pools it is quite easily seen this soon on your arrival that no expense was spared when designing this baby. And this is just a taste of the water features that lie within the grounds of the Grand Wailea. It also has nine pools which are all interconnected with each other via brooks and lagoons and all lie amongst waterslides, rope swings and imitation beaches. The pool bar only but compliments this major attraction.

The resort's grounds extend over an impressive 40 acres and are intimately cared for. This vast expanse of space allows guest to have the privacy they need to relax and unwind. When you are taking a stroll through this Eden make a point of taking in the various artworks that has been carefully placed throughout the grounds.

These grounds also are home to the Wailea Golf Club and its three courses: The Blue, The Gold and The Emerald. This club is home to the Championship Skins Game and the LPGA Skins Game and comes complete with pro shop and on hand instructors.

If you looking for a spot of shopping then the Grand Wailea is for you! Mostly are very up market and very much bias towards weddings it's a very popular "big day" spot with over 800 couples a year saying "I do."

The resort's beach, Wailea Beach, is one of the best on the island and provides countless activities for its guests windsurfing, Snuba Diving, snorkeling to mention just a few. And if it pampering you want then book in at the health spa or why not have a work out at the fitness centre first?
