The Lodge at Koele is located inland on the serene Hawaiian Island of Lanai. The Lodge at Koele is part of the Castle and Cooke Resorts and is found only a few miles from Lanai City surrounded by graceful Norfolk pines the Lodge is set against the island's striking uplands (1600 feet above sea level) with easy access to the rest of the island.

This resort was listed in the "Top 20 Pacific Rim Resorts" by Condé Nast Traveler Readers' Choice Awards.

Once a pineapple plantation, The Lodge has the design characteristics typical of the colonial manors of the period. Visitors have described it as being a mixture of an English country estate, an old style hunting lodge while holding the essence of Fantasy Island. There are 102 rooms which are all designed with a focus on comfort with just a hint of English country elegance. Room décor is based on cool pastel colours and double crown moldings and each room has its own private verandah that opens up to a view of the surreal garden landscapes. Complete with tall four-poster beds, window seats, original artwork, and luxury linen a room can cost between more than the average hotel. Many visitors have particularly preferred rooms that overlook the rear grounds.

The rooms surround the Great Hall, which comes complete with natural stone fireplaces, comfortable and large-scale furnishing, unique paintings, sculptures, and artifacts of the Pacific. Close by guests and visitors will find the Music Room, Trophy Room and the Library. The Lodge at Koele also provides its visitors with only the best prepared food.

This luxury hotel also is home to one of the best golf course on the planet called "The Experience," which was designed by Greg Norman. As well as having a professional golf course the resort also offers guest access to a fitness centre and archery range as well as hosting activities such as horse riding, mountain biking and hiking tours up the Koliki Ridge. Some may choose simply to relax by the pool or in the hot tub.

The Lodge at Koele also caters for the more culturally focused as it is not far from the Lanai Art and Cultural Center which offers a number of classes from Raku to Pareo making. The hotel itself also hosts a Visiting Arts program in which they have lectures and guest speakers who specialise in art, music and other more culturally focused topics.
