The Maui Prince Hotel is part of the affluent Makena Resort and rests at the base of Haleakala. The serenity and tranquility of this hotel is communicated immediately on entry, where guests are faced with perfectly groomed gardens with a central courtyard area that contains beautiful koi ponds.

Some of the koi in these ponds - rumour has it - are decades old! With such swirls of colour and natural landscaping - guests have no choice but to leave their worrys behind. The hotel was designed so that the doors of every room open up to this piece of Eden. The verandahs, or lanai, in turn look out onto views of the mighty Pacific Ocean.

There is also no shortage of activities to occupy guests who choose to stay. Most people inevitably find themselves drawn to the luxurious swimming pool or to the cabanas down by the beach where they can gaze out at the incredible Molokini Crater. With grounds that stretch over 1800 acres, guests can also treat themselves to relaxing walks and hikes, all the while discovering for themselves the natural beauty of the island.
