Stowe

The pistes are extensive and varied. Stowe provides everything, whether you are a beginner on the forgiving slopes of Spruce Peak or an expert taking on the world famous ‘Front Four’ double back diamonds runs on Mount Mansfield.
Killington
Killington is the biggest resort in the USA, and is the nearest state-side resort to the UK. It is made up of six mountains and is unique in terms of variety and quantity of slopes. You could enjoy a lifetime of skiing around Killington and nearby Pico Mountain and never be without a new challenge.
Killington is also the liveliest of the American resorts. It truly comes to life at night with a plethora of bars, restaurants and nightclubs. It also has a reputation for sensational live music!
The final thing we must mention with regards to Killington are the other extensive attractions it offers including ice skating, sleigh rides, snowmobiling, dog sledding and for those with a sweet tooth, how about a trip to the world famous Ben & Jerry’s ice cream factory?!
Other resorts in the USA worth thinking about are Breckenridge, Jackson Hole, Big Mountain and Vail. All are welcoming and offer extensive pistes and nightlife, but because of the additional travel time required, we believe if you are thinking about a ski holiday in America you need look no further than Stowe and Killington.
